SPB Annual Meet announced for 25th March 2012


 

Dear SPB Fans,
This has reference to the SPB Annual Meet announced for 25th March 2012 in one of our earlier mails.
Please excuse us for keeping you all in the dark regarding the arrangements.
Finding suitable venue and facilities took some time and hence we could not communicate to you on the same.
Now that the arrangements have been identified, we are now ready to inform you on the details.
VENUE ::
ASHA NIVAS SOCIAL WELFARE CENTRE,
9, Rutland Gate, 5th Street,
Nungambakkam, Chennai 600 006
Landmark – located at the end of the street opposite to Hotel Taj Coromandal , Nungambakkam High Road – the venue is around 5 minutes walk from the Hotel
SCHEDULE ::
Date :: 25th March 2012 (Sunday)
Time :: 10.00am to 1.00pm
Registration for the event will be done at 9.00am at the venue
PARTICIPATION CHARGES ::
Based on the rates negotiated for the Hall, Lunch and Beverages at the above venue and also considering memento to SPB Sir, the participation amount for the event is fixed as Rs.300 per Head. Children below 5 years of age will be admitted free of charges
ARRANGEMENTS FOR OUTSTATION PARTICIPANTS ::
For participants visiting from out of Chennai (travelling overnight the previous day), arrangements are made to refresh on 25th March in the rooms available at the venue. Charges for the same would be Rs.250 per Head. Rooms will be offered on a sharing basis (4 persons per room – room rate is Rs.1,000)
PARTICIPATION NOTIFICATION / INFORMATION ::
In order to make proper arrangements for the Hall and Food, we need to know the number of participants for the event
You are therefore requested to email your participation details in the following format latest by 15th March 2012.
1) Name of Primary participant & Age::
2) Names of accompanying members & their age ::
3) Room facilities required or not :: Yes or No (applicable only for outstation participants for refreshing– Rs.250 per head)
Participants can pay the charges by Cash at the venue between 9.00 am to 09.45am on the date of event
SALIENT EVENT DETAILS ::
As is done for every Annual Meet, contribution to social institutions will form one of the main agenda of the event. Three social establishments related to AIDS affected Children, Old age home and School Education have been identified to receive contributions from our SPB Fans Charitable Foundation. For the first time ever, it is decided to contribute Rs.2,00,000 (the highest till date) towards these three organizations and the contribution will be handed over to the institutions by our SPB Sir during the event
As always, our ability to fund these projects depends on your generosity. No
amount is big or small when it comes to charity. I request each one of you to
contribute "any amount" within your limits to reach these deserving people.
